SharePoint Shop Talk il-Ħamis, 09/10/09 fil 12:30PM EDT

SharePoint Shop Talk tkompli din nhar ta 'Ħamis 12:30 PM EDT li 1:30PM EDT. This will be our 5th call I believe. SharePoint Shop Talk works like this:

  • A panel of SharePoint Experts answer questions. This week the panel includes Laura Rogers, Natalya Voskresenskaya, Harry Jones u me.
  • Any SharePoint question is fair game.
  • Jibgħat jew jistaqsu mistoqsijiet:
    • Mill email: info@arcovis.com
    • Twitter direttament @ pagalvin
    • Ħalli kumment fuq dan il-blog
    • Ikteb il-kwistjoni isfel fuq id-dahar ta 'biċċa bord poster, naħa waħda minnhom huwa kopert bil- $20 kontijiet u impustata indirizz tad-dar tiegħi (leave kumment u I se jkunu f'kuntatt miegħek direttament).
    • Fl-aħħar nett, dial fis-sejħa u staqsi it out loud.

This week we have a few questions around SharePoint workflow. Two sample questions:

  • "Kif nista 'tuża Designer SharePoint workflow mill-iżvilupp li jittestjaw?"
  • "Ma SharePoint Disinjatur xogħol workflow ukoll ma InfoPath? How I can share information between an InfoPath form and a SharePoint Designer workflow?"

This week’s SharePoint Shop Talk registration is up. Ikklikkja hawn biex jirreġistraw. We hope to hear you there!

Internet Explorer 8 Jiġġarrfu // 64 Operating Systems bit

A kumment minn Bob Fox (permezz Twitter, @bfox11b) mfakkra me li kelli maħsuba biex tarmi flimkien blog dħul quick jiddeskrivi problema u s-soluzzjoni tiegħi għal Internet Explorer jiġġarrfu fuqi l-ħin kollu.

Ftit xhur ilu, I ltqajna laptop ġdid (Dell Vostro 1720). This is my first 64 bit-magni u I kien għaddej 64 bit IE8. Maż-żmien, dan beda crash imprevedibbli, iżda ħafna drabi (probabbilment kuljum). It’s pretty agile at recovering from all that, but it was a real nuisance.

Il-problema tidher li kienet plugin Adobe, “Air” or their flash plugin – I don’t really know what it’s called or care all that much. It turns out that it’s not compatible with a 64 ambjent bit (li huwa totalment * * raġonevoli; Mhuwiex simili 64 bit hu t-tip ta 'ħaġa li xi ħadd ħlief *** *** crazy kumpaniji jridu appoġġ jew xejn). I tried to uninstall it but that experiment only lasted about 15 minuti. It turns out that a ridiculous number of sites are using flash tech (I jista 'jkun l-aħħar wieħed li tirrealizza dan fuq il-pjaneta). Allura, I ma jkunux jistgħu jgħixu mingħajr ma u I ma tistax tuża IE8 64 bit.

My answer is to switch to 32bit IE8. It’s been smooth sailing since then.

Aħna jerġa SharePoint Talk Shop għada fil 12:30 PM EDT. Bħas-soltu, jekk ikun hemm xi suġġetti jew mistoqsijiet li tixtieq-panel biex tindirizza, jekk jogħġbok email lill- info@arcovis.com.

  • "Fuq newform.aspx tiegħi għal-lista prinċipali tiegħi, I jkollhom kolonna lookup li l-punti għall-kolonna titolu fil-lista impjegat tiegħi.

Fil-lista impjegat, there is another column that is a checkbox named ‘active’.

What Nixtieq li jiġri huwa fuq il-NewForm tal-lista prinċipali, meta ikklikkja fuq il-dropdown huwa juri biss ir-rekords mil-lista impjegat li huma mmarkati attiva.

Hemm mod biex jiffiltraw l-dropdown fuq newform.aspx il mainlist hekk biss juri dawk immarkati attiva?"

  • "Naf li dan huwa sempliċi iżda, għall-ħajja ta 'lili ma nistax ġġibu biex jaħdmu! Għandna bord ta 'diskussjoni li aħna mibnija qasam data fis skadenza sejħa. Nixtieq li awtomatikament jkollha l-punti li jkunu skadew tħassar wara d-data ta 'skadenza tagħhom. Jekk inti tista 'tibgħatli screen shot tal-fluss tax-xogħol ikun ferm apprezzat. Bażikament jekk skada = llum imbagħad tħassar oġġett kurrenti "
  • "I am jippruvaw jistabbilixxu lista sign up għal drive tad-demm, wherein darba slot żmien huwa magħżul, ma jkunx aktar disponibbli. Hemm mod biex tagħmel dan, minbarra biss tagħmel spreadsheet Excel tat-tip tkun is-sinjal-up? "

U jekk għandna ħin:

  • Kemm esperti SharePoint ma jieħdu biex jibdlu bozza tad-dawl?

Minbarra, aħna jwieġbu l-mistoqsijiet direttament mill email u aħna miftuħa għal mistoqsijiet kwalunkwe ħin fuq is-sejħa nnifisha.

SharePoint On Line // BPOs - Xi idejn fuq esperjenza

(Innota: F'dan l-artikolu kien cross-stazzjonati hawn: http://www.endusersharepoint.com/?p=1912)

Aġġornament 09/01/09: Ibbażat fuq ir-rispons twitter, I need to clarify that InfoPath is supported in the sense that BPOS provides forms libraries. What I mean when I write "not supported in any way" is that InfoPath forms services functions are not supported. That means that you can’t publish an InfoPath form to BPOS and and have it render in the web browser. It also means that some out of the box workflows, li użu InfoPath (anki fil MOSS edizzjoni standard) don’t work in BPOS because their initiation and other forms use InfoPath. Hopefully that clears things up.

I kellhom iċ-ċans li verament ħaffer joffru Microsoft Online aktar kmieni din is-sena u partikularment tal suite produttività online (BPOs). This came along before I even hard a firm plan to set out on my own at Arcovis. I immediately saw, madankollu, li BPOs tista 'tkun parti ewlenija tal-infrastruttura interna tal-kumpannija tiegħi u maż-żmien, it has become exactly that. Arcovis, uses it on a daily basis. I thought I’d share some of that experience from a practical perspective in case you want to evaluate it for yourself or are just curious about it.

Peress li l-kelma "suite" fl BPOs jimplika, ikollok sorra żgħir ta 'applikazzjonijiet:

  • Skambju
  • Laqgħa Live
  • Communicator
  • SharePoint

Tista 'tixtri kull wieħed minnhom separatament, I believe. It’s all spelled out relatively clearly on the Microsoft sit online. You may be able to get better deals through MSFT partners. Arcovis has been working with Strateġiji Cloud u dawn jidhru li jafu Jittieħed tagħhom, so I d jinkluduhom fil-lista tiegħek ta 'bejjiegħa jekk inti tagħmel tfittxija multi-bejjiegħ.

I tiddeskrivi l-esperjenza tiegħi u ħsibijiet għal kull wieħed minn dawn rispettivament.

Skambju

Dan huwa ambjent ospitat skambju u mill-perspettiva tiegħi, it works like any other Exchange server I have ever used. It’s fully integrated with all of my fellow Arcovis partners’ environments and gives me access to the calendar (li huwa enormi). Good stuff.

Huwa jipprovdi wkoll il Outlook Web Access (OWA) interface. That means I can get my email on any machine that has a web browser.

My mowbajl HTC, running Windows Mobile 6.1(?) connected to it nicely via Active Sync. It did this in exactly the way I expected and wanted.

Ma nqisx lili nnifsi ħafna aktar minn prospetti każwali u utent iskambju għalhekk jista 'jkun hemm fatturi Skambju verament importanti li biss mhumiex appoġġjati u jien ma neċessarjament jaf li.

I think the strongest recommendation I make for this is that I am completely unaware that my exchange environment is “somewhere else.” I don’t know see any difference in Exchange and how I use it on a daily basis versus the half dozen or so other times I used someone’s exchange environment. Fil-fatt, dan huwa aħjar għaliex sempliċement xogħlijiet.

Bottom line - ospitat skambju huwa dak li jeħtieġ li jkun u jien kuntent ħafna miegħu.

Laqgħa Live

This is a truly indispensible tool when you’re in the consulting business. I fire up instant live meetings several times a week to show intermediate work product to clients, li tarahom jiksru soluzzjonijiet tiegħi hekk li I taf kif jiffissaw għalihom, jagħmlu preżentazzjonijiet bejgħ, eċċ. Live meeting is bundled with BPOS and it’s very easy to use.

I’m even less of a live meeting expert than I am on exchange. Madankollu, għal skopijiet tiegħi, huwa kbir.

Communicator

S'issa, I use communicator almost only for presence information. I say “only” but have that presence data available to me whenever I’m connect has become addictive. With communicator installed and running, kollegi tiegħi jafu meta jien disponibbli, dak iskeda tiegħi huwa simili f'dan il-mument, u jistgħu IM me (għalkemm l-interface IM hija pjuttost matt, fl-aħjar). It’s one of those things that I really miss when I don’t have it. I actually get a little annoyed when my colleagues aren’t running communicator because the presence information is missing.

The presence indicator feels pervasive. It shows up in SharePoint whenever their name appears as an author to a document, assenjat kompitu, eċċ. It shows in email, embedded right in outlook. It shows up in the communicator client itself.

For the most it just sits there running in the background and decorates my outlook and SharePoint screens with real-time presence information. It’s very cool.

SharePoint

Bit favorit tiegħi, tal-kors, is SharePoint.

BPOS provides a modified version of MOSS standard edition. I’ll explain “modified” below. We’ve been using our BPOS SharePoint portal for stuff like:

  • Informazzjoni Marketing
  • Bejgħ (proposti, jwassal traċċar) -> nagħmlu pjan biex jinvestu fil-soluzzjoni CRM iżda għal issa, SharePoint qed taħdem kif CRM soluzzjoni tagħna.
  • Msieħba u l-klijent kuntatti
  • Fittex
  • Informazzjoni tal-proġett Klijent
  • Billing (prinċipalment għall-ħażna fatturi tagħna)
  • Diskussjonijiet
  • Soluzzjonijiet prototipi
  • Bini out siti ta 'dimostrazzjoni (e.g. ġdid kiri ġestjoni tal-proċess HR)
  • Time sheets
  • Kollaborazzjoni dokument

Bażikament, l-għalf youd jistennew li jużaw SharePoint għal.

Tul it-triq, aħna jużaw fatturi tekniċi bħal:

  • Allerti
  • SharePoint Designer
    • Flussi tax-xogħol
    • Branding
  • Kontenut ta 'tipi
  • CQWP
  • Dokument libreriji bil-kontroll verżjoni
  • Listi Custom għat-tipi kollha ta 'affarijiet (bħal time sheets tagħna)
  • jQuery (u l-goodness li tista 'toħroġ minn dan, inklużi sejħiet Ajax għal servizzi web SharePoint)

Dak li ma nista 'tagħmel dan? There are a bunch of things that would be nice:

  • I cannot provide anonymous access. Fil-fatt, i don’t think I can do that for any price. I could be wrong, jew nisperaw MSFT se tbiddel dan fil-futur.
  • Nru InfoPath ta 'kull tip.
    • Dan għandu l-effett sekondarju ftit stramba ta 'timblokka workflows ftit MOSS standard li jiddependu fuq InfoPath.
  • No server side code. That means, fost affarijiet oħra:
    • Ebda riċevituri avveniment
    • Ebda azzjonijiet custom disinjatur SharePoint
    • Ebda tipi ta 'oqsma tad-dwana
    • Nru SDLC xierqa (I.E. karatteristiċi / soluzzjonijiet).
    • Ebda aċċess għall stsadm
  • No access to a shared service provider.
    • The last bit is a little sad because we can’t do as much search configuration I would like.

Inti bażikament tagħti up a lott ta 'kapaċità teknika u huma sfurzati li jgħixu fil-konfini ta SharePoint funzjonalità out-of-the-kaxxa.

I can live with that. I have found myself wanting to slap together an event receiver or use a custom action once or twice,, iżda għall-parti l-kbira, I ma avviż-nuqqas.

I should add that this is not a comprehensive list of the differences between a hosted “on prem” MOSS environment and SharePoint on line. Cloud Strategies has a very detailed presentation that goes into all that if you’re interested. I’m speaking from the perspective of a business owner leveraging the tool.

      Faċilità ta 'Użu

Microsoft tipprovdi applikazzjoni desktop nifty li tippermetti aċċess rapidu u faċli għall-funzjonijiet kollha BPOs:

      image

Inti ma għandekx bżonn li jużawh, iżda telimina l-ħtieġa għall-log f'kull wieħed mill-applikazzjonijiet separatament u għal-laqgħa live, Huwa pjuttost sbieħ għaliex inti tista 'tagħmel "jissodisfaw issa" sessjoni ma biss 2 klikks (wieħed fuq il-"web conferencing" buttuna fuq u ieħor fuq il-web browser li pops up). It’s also nice to get OWA with one click, għalkemm inti tista 'biss jitqiegħed li Favourites browser tiegħek kif ukoll.

The other major advantage with this desktop application is that it provides a background kind of single sign on service. As long as this is running in the background, I tista 'tiftaħ web browsers u qabbad lill-ambjent BPOs tiegħi mingħajr qatt bżonn li jidħol kredenzjali.

      Żvelar sħiħ

Microsoft made BPOS available to me for free so I am not currently paying the monthly per user fee at this time. Madankollu, Nara valur hemmhekk u inti tista 'taċċetta fuq il-fidi (jew le) that I would pay for this service. The fact is that I can’t count on Microsoft providing this for free forever and it’s become so strongly integrated with my business that moving … the mind quails.

      Konklużjoni

BPOS is an insanely feature rich platform. Skambju, SharePoint (MOSS Standard!), preżenza, laqgħat ħajjin instant - huwa ħafna ta 'funzjonalità li nixtieq sorely, sorely miss if I had to live without it. My business would be severely impacted without it. Could I find replacement functionality? Probably, iżda naħseb I jkollhom cobble dan flimkien minn varjetà ta 'bejjiegħa oħra, complicating my life. BPOS has so far proven itself to be stable and reliable. For the right kind of customer (bħal kumpanija tiegħi), BPOs min konsiderazzjoni b'saħħitha.

SharePoint - X'hemm Huwa Tajba Għall? A Mini Kura Każ ta 'Studju tas-Saħħa

[Innota: dan blog post hija taqsam stazzjonati fis-sit Mark Miller hawn: http://www.endusersharepoint.com/?p = 1897]

Wieħed mill tal-kumpanija tiegħi klijenti aktar mhux tas-soltu hija New York City tabib li hija mexxejja fil-qasam partikolari tiegħu tal-mediċina (kura għajnejn). Like many doctors, he has a strong interest in research. He wanted to do some research on a rare eye disorder that affects a relatively small number of people in the U.S. and Canada. I don’t know the number, but it’s really too small for a large pharmaceutical company to invest its own private funds with an eye toward eventual commercial success. I’m sure large pharma’s do some amount of research into rare diseases, imma nemmen li l-U.S. government is probably the largest source of funding. Bħal kull ħaġa, resources are scarce. Many doctors across the country want to perform research and trials. Bħala riżultat, there’s more than a little competition for that government funding. This is where my company and SharePoint enter the picture.

The fundamental idea is that a master organization will recruit other doctors across the country and enlist those doctors’ practices in a particular research study. These individual practices must sign up with the master organization and then, sussegwentement, sign up for a particular study. The relationships look like this:

      • Organizzazzjoni waħda kaptan.
      • Prattiki differenti tal-bosta tabib jiffirmaw ma 'l-organizzazzjoni kaptan.
      • The master organization obtains funding for individual studies. At the outset, hemm biss l-istudju wieħed fuq marda speċifika għajn rari għalkemm aħna qed diġà FOTs għal studju ieħor.
      • Individual doctors’ practices sign up for specific studies. A specific practice could sign up for one or multiple studies.

L-organizzazzjoni kaptan innifsu huwa maqsuma fi gruppi:

      • Kumitat eżekuttiv
      • Kumitat ta 'tmexxija
      • Kumitati ta 'studju individwali
      • Amministrazzjoni
      • oħrajn

Fl-aħħarnett, meta prattika ta 'tabib speċifiku jiffirma biex jipparteċipaw fi studju, jeħtieġ li tipprovdi lill-professjonisti biex iwettqu varjetà ta 'rwoli:

      • Investigaturi (inkluż investigatur primarja, normalment tabib, flimkien ma 'wieħed jew aktar investigaturi addizzjonali)
      • Koordinaturi
      • Technicians
      • Għotjiet amministraturi
      • oħrajn

The above roles have very specific and highly proscribed roles that vary by study. I won’t get into more detail here, imma jekk int interessat, leave kumment jew email me.

U issa I tista 'twieġeb il-mistoqsija, SharePoint - X'hemm tajjeb għall-? The answer – it’s really good for this scenario.

Dan intro huwa diġà itwal milli stennejt, so I ser tqassar l-irwol vitali li SharePoint jilgħab fil-soluzzjoni u adsa fis-dettalji fil-artikolu ġejjieni (jekk inti ma tistax tistenna, email me jew leave kumment u jien ser ikunu kuntenti li jiddiskutu u forsi anki jipprova jagħmel demo). We are leveraging a wide array of SharePoint features to support this concept:

      • Siti għall-kumitati, rwoli individwali (siti koordinatur, siti investigatur, eċċ).
      • Sigurtà biex tiżgura li l-prattiki differenti ma tara data prattiċi oħra ".
      • InfoPath forms services for online form entry. This is a particularly big win. Normalment, dawn il-formoli diffiċli huma stampati, impustata l-prattiki, filled out and mailed back. The advantages to the online forms are obvious. They do introduce some complexities (liċenzjar u umani) iżda li storja oħra.
      • Mill-web partijiet kaxxa, bħal avviżi (meta ma Kumitat [x] jilħqu?) u laqgħa ispazji tax-xogħol.
      • Formoli Awtentikazzjoni ibbażata flimkien ma 'għodda CodePlex li jipprovdu self-reġistrazzjoni u password tinsa karatteristiċi.
      • Listi customized u l-fehmiet lista għall-viżibilità fl-attivitajiet ta 'studju li sempliċement mhumiex possibbli bil-karta pur u approċċi lapes.

Bl-eċċezzjoni tal-modulu awtentikazzjoni bbażati forom u numru żgħir ta 'forom InfoPath, dan il-proġett qed tuża kważi kollha barra tal-funzjonalità SharePoint kaxxa.

Qabel I nagħlaq dan l-istudju min-każ, Irrid li jiġi rrilevat xi ħaġa importanti ħafna - l-ebda fuq involut ma 'dan il-proġett (apparti minn kumpanija tiegħi tal-kors) has any idea that a thing called “SharePoint” is playing such a fundamental technical role. Nearly all of my end users view this as “the web site.” Our client values us because we’re solving their business problem. SharePoint is a great technical blob of goodness, iżda jsir id-dritt, that’s irrelevant to end users. They need a problem solved, mhux blob isbaħ ta 'teknoloġija.

      Cloud Computing, Jenfasizzaw SharePoint

Minflok ta 'sessjoni SharePoint Talk Shop dan il-Ħamis, imsieħba tiegħi u jien fil Arcovis huma għaqda ma ' Strateġiji Cloud u Sistemi integrati u Group Services biex jagħtu dak li nittama jkun preżentazzjoni interessanti dwar is-servizzi online Microsoft, jiffoka fuq l-Business Produttività Online Suite (BPOs). Arcovis actually uses BPOS for its internal SharePoint portal so we have some hands on experience and the kind of experience borne of daily use. Fil-fatt, l-demo nnifisha tkun qed taħdem fil tagħna ambjent BPOs stess.

Tista taqra d-dettalji kollha tal-bejgħ rija hawn iżda l-punti ewlenin huma:

    • Servizzi Online Microsoft: Business Produttività Online Suite Overview
    • SharePoint ™ Online Spotlight
    • Dimostrazzjoni Live: Responsabbilizzazzjoni Business tiegħek billi tuża SharePoint Online
    • Kif Get Started ma Computing Cloud

I ser tkun tagħti l-demo ħajjin u naħseb li għandu jkun interessanti fl-dritt tagħha stess, ddivorzjata ta 'l-sħaba kollu / online thing. I’m going to describe a very common business process, Kiri New famuż / On-boarding process. I’ll demonstrate a solution that uses SharePoint to implement that process. The demo will include notifications, dashboard u l-viżibilità biss ġeneralment jibred biex x'inhu għaddej ma 'tikri ġodda.

Stajt personalment implimentati din is-soluzzjoni għal tliet kumpanniji separati, so I know it’s a pretty common process that people like to automate using SharePoint. With luck, Arcovis will be using this ourselves soon enough 🙂

Allura, jekk inti kellna xi interess fil-kompjuters sħaba minn punt SharePoint prattiku ħafna ta 'opinjoni, this webinar is just what you need to do this Thursday 🙂

    • SharePoint Talk terġa Shop

We held our 3rd SharePoint Shop Talk session yesterday. Twenty-five folk braved the overly aggressive registration screen (aħna qed jaħdmu fuq dak!) to sign up and dial into the call.

The topics varied widely although they were a bit more end user and light admin focused this time. We spent a lot of time discussing the age old question, “how do I secure a view”. There was some SharePoint Designer in there, daqsxejn ta 'skjerament kontenut, verżjoni tal-web partijiet fuq il-paġni pubblikazzjoni (hemm verament ma xi versioning għall-partijiet tal-web), aħjar prattiki għat-twaqqif ta 'sigurtà (tweġiba = "dan jiddependi" u jżomm f'moħħu post Joris "hawnhekk: http://jopx.blogspot.com/2009/08/sharepoint-and-2000-principal-limit.html) u analytics (li wassal għall-promozzjoni post Todd Klindt ta hawn dwar LogParser u SharePoint: http://www.toddklindt.com/blog/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=85).

A pattern seems to be forming with these calls. A question is emailed in or asked during the Q&A and the bottom line answer is “it depends.” The panel discusses various angles to the question, aħna jistgħu iżolati off fuq il-tanġent fard jew tnejn, imma fl-aħħar, we’ve had a pretty thorough discussion of that topic. My goal with these sessions is that question asker walks away from the call with more options to solve her problem than she had before she joined the call. I think it’s safe to say that that’s happening (fil-fatt, hi jista 'jkollhom għażliet wisq f'xi każijiet).

Ġimgħa d-dieħla, kollegi tiegħi u jien fil Arcovis huma konġuntament jippreżentaw webinar ma tnejn mill-imsieħba tagħna, Sistemi integrati u Group Services u Strateġiji Cloud about Microsoft Online services. I think it’s going to be very informative. Our role (Arcovis) is to present a short demo on how to build a real world solution using Microsoft on line. We’re going to demonstrate a human resources application to manage the on-boarding process for new hires. If you’ve wondered about MS Online, check this webinar out.

Dan Webinar probabbilment ifisser li aħna mhux se jorganizzaw sessjoni Talk Shop ġimgħa d-dieħla, but keep tuned 🙂 If we do have it, mhux se jkun il-Ħamis.

Għal darb'oħra, grazzi tiegħi tmur għall-panel: Harry Jones, Natalya Voskresenskaya and Laura Rogers. Grazzi, guys!

SharePoint Shop Ħsibijiet Talk u reazzjonijiet

We held our second “SharePoint Shop Talk” session yesterday and it was a lot of fun. We had fewer attendees this time (prinċipalment minħabba msieħba tagħna, ISSG, ma tibgħat jistiednu email big għall-klijentela tagħhom). Min-naħa l-oħra, we had probably more than twice as many questions to answer. We had so many, fil-fatt, li aħna ma setgħux jiksbu għalihom kollha, so now we have a little bit of a head start on questions for next week’s Shop Talk session. The questions and our responses touched on data view web parts, iffissar reġjun utent informazzjoni speċifika programmatically, Flussi tax-xogħol disinjatur SharePoint, mistoqsija infrastruttura crazy dwar Kerberos (li kien probabbilment pjanti permezz Bob Fox) and jQuery. Sfortunatament, ebda ċajt Banjo, madankollu. Sigh…

Imxejna reġistrat is-sit, www.sharepointshoptalk.com u rridu li tibda tuża biex tagħmel l-affarijiet kollha tas-soltu, bħall tħabbar l-iskeda tas-sejħiet, put up the recordings of the sessions and the questions/answers themselves. (ma jolqot tikklikkja l-link li ma jkunx hemm xi kontenut s'issa għad hemm).

Fuq sejħa bieraħ, kellna l-bord ta 'esperti oriġinali li jinkludi l-imsieħba Arcovis tiegħi (Natalya Voskresenskaya u Harry Jones). We added Laura Rogers ta ' EUSP.com (u bnadi oħra) fama. To top it all off, SharePoint MVP Esplorazzjoni Simser joined the call and we roped him into the discussion. Bil even dusted off an qodma blog dħul u aġġornata li in response to one of the questions.

InfoPath // Spjegazzjoni waħda għal "eċċezzjoni unhandled meta jfornu forma System.Xml.XmlException: Tmiem mhux mistennija tal-fajl waqt Isem parsing tkun seħħet. "

I kien qed jaħdem fuq formola InfPath llum u dam up kontra xi ħabib antik, "Eċċezzjoni unhandled meta jfornu forma System.Xml.XmlException: Tmiem mhux mistennija tal-fajl waqt Isem parsing seħħet. "

This happened to me a long time ago and I don’t know what exactly I did to resolve it. Honestly, Naħseb li I kien jgħaddi għall proġett ġdid u qatt ma raw dan wieħed solvuti (sostituzzjonijiet tiegħi kellhom jittrattaw ma 'dak uġigħ ta' ras). I do remember it was a devil of a problem. I spent several unsuccessful days dealing with it. Since then, Stajt rajt dan toħroġ fuq forums MSDN inqas darba matul l-aħħar sena u qatt verament raw tweġiba għaliha.

I hit llum u fortunatament dan iż-żmien , I had just made a change to the form. I backed out that change and the problem went away. It turns out that it’s possible to create a from template using InfoPath Designer in such a way that it generates a parse error on the forms server side of the fence.

Fil-każ tiegħi, il-problema kienet ikkawżata minn dawn il-passi:

      1. Żid element ġdid ma 'sors tad-dejta bħala qasam tat-test.
      2. Qatra fuq il-formola.
      3. Bidla display huwa fi drop down lista.
      4. Għid il-drop down lista biex jiġbdu l-valuri tagħha minn lista custom SharePoint.

I do not know jekk dawk il-passi jikkawża problema jew forsi, b'xi mod l-informazzjoni fil-lista nnifisha hija problema. I’m going to experiment a bit and see if I can nail downt he parameters of this with any more detail.
