Sintakse:
stsadm -O Renameweb -URL -newname
Piemērs:
Stsadm -O Renameweb -URL http://localhost / oldname -newname NewName
Iepriekš komanda būs pārdēvēt interneta lietojumprogrammu no oldname līdz NEWNAME.

I tried to rename a web application from http://sharepoint to intranet using the command suggested but received the following error.
Cannot move the root web of a site
collection.
Any suggestions?
This command does NOT rename the Web Application it renames the Web URL

Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the pictures aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the same results.
